Error Code: E4 - Units Abnormality Protection

When this error code appears, it means there is a problem with the hose pipe - the heat is being kept in the hose pipe and not being transferred properly.

To fix the problem you have to do the following:

  • Check the heat is going through the hose pipe and being let out properly to an open space. Make sure the air is not being let out into a small space. This can be the course of the problem as the hot air is not being expelled properly, so it is being kept in the hose pipe - therefore making it overheat.
  • If you're venting this out through a wall with a vent on the other side, make sure there is no downsizing of the pipe as this will restrict air flow therefore causing the unit to overheat. This can also be caused if the vents on the other side are not opening or letting out enough air.

If the problem is still occurring, you'll need to send the unit back to us - as the problem will need to be fixed by our in house professionals.
